However, we've never known a high profile part such as this one to go to another actor once the words "in negotiations" crop up. The film is set to start shooting in the next couple of months, under the stewardship of director Kenneth Branagh. Much of the rest of the cast has been in place for some time already, with Chris Hemsworth long confirmed in the title role, along with Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
